Fornells is a small fishing port in the north coast of the magical island of Menorca. Menorca was declared 'Reserve of the Biosphere' by the UNESCO in 1993. The beaches and coves are so rich in their variety that it is difficult to believe that Menorca is only 47 kms. long betwwen its most distant points. The beaches in the north and south differ in the characterisitics of the tone of sand and surrounding landscapes. Meanwhile the most interpid travellers will discover solitary coves and unspoiled beaches, on many occasions only accesible from the water. There are few places where you will benefit so much from living close to the sea.

Sa Torre: coastal defense tower built by the British in the 19th century in order to protect the entry to Fornells. The Albufera d'es Grau: a natural parc situated in the east of the island where you will be able to observe a great number of migratory bird species. Faro de Cavallería: a wonderful cliff in the north coast of Menorca where you can watch the wonderful sunset. Ses bases de Lluriac: at 3kms. distance from Fornells, this is a place where you can observe a typical Menorcan countryside with many birds.
